Viscount Limerk, Baron Clanboy, & Knight of the Illustruous Order of St. Patrick
He was born on the 23rd of August 1730, was married on the 21st of May 1774 to Grace
Eldest Daughter of Thomas Lord Foley & died on the 6th of Febway 1798 leaving no issue
His disconsolate widow who inscribed this tablet to his Memory forbears to fill it with superfluous Praise or useless Lamentations
May they who knew him best and loved him most praise him in their future Living by a Remembrance of his Example
And an initation of his virtue

The larger one belongs to a family called Page; well know in Dundalk in olden times.
The smaller, to the Tipping family of Bellurgan, near Dundalk.

David Atkinson, of Channon Rock, was second son of George Atkinson, of Dundalk, by Margaret, daughter of David Gaussen, of Newry. His wife, Hannah, was daughter of John Trueman, of Brockley, Co. Armagh, by Mary Smith. John Fleming, of the Hill, Monaghan, was married to Mary Atkinson, granddaughter to David and Jane Atkinson. Henry Smith, of Channon Rock, was married to Mary, only daughter of David and Hannah Atkinson. Elizabeth Grindall Robinson was granddaughter to Davis and Anne Jane Atkinson, so were the infant children of John and Anne Jane Atkinson.
