who lost their lives
in a noble and humane effort
to rescue the crew of the Barque
"Mary Stoddard"
Wrecked in Dundalk Bay
on the 9th April
1858.
On the pane east side, carving of a small sailing vessel in a storm; on west side, carving of capstan and anchor; and on south side, the name of persons who assisted at the rescue, but who survived.
